Senior Tax Consultant – Global Equity Compensation, WARSZAWA

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
  • Fluent English: Proficiency in English is essential for effective global communication and collaboration. Polish is preferred for seamless interaction within KPMG Poland but is not required.
  • Independent and Collaborative Work: Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to tackle complex challenges and devise impactful solutions.
  • Knowledge of Tax and Payroll Legislation: Good understanding of income tax and payroll legislation regarding incentive compensation across multiple jurisdictions; experience with US, UK or Swiss tax rules is a strong advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including working with larger datasets, checks and reconciliations) and Word.
  • AI, Automation and Digital Mindset: Genuine interest in AI and a willingness to follow the latest trends and explore practical applications in a professional context. Hands‑on experience leveraging digital tools to improve or partially automate processes, including advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g. lookups, complex formulas, macros). Familiar with data transformation and visualization tools such as Power BI / Power Query, Alteryx or similar workflow automation tools.
  • Experience: At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in tax, payroll, equity compensation or a related domain.
