What you need to have to succeed in this role

  • Senior experience in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience building and running services on Kubernetes.
  • Practical experience with Cloud, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong knowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices including OpenAPI 3.0 / Swagger, REST, JSON, and Microservices.
  • Experience with CI/CD toolchains including GitHub, Jira, Jenkins (shared libraries), Maven, and Groovy.
  • Knowledge of service security including OAuth 2.0 authentication/authorisation, plus experience with Kong API Gateway.
  • Solid understanding of Agile testing discipline (e.g., TDD) and strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and business domains quickly and apply them to real delivery challenges.

We’re seeking a Software Engineer (Backend Java/API) to join our Messaging Delivery Platform team in Kraków on a permanent basis. The platform centralises the delivery of messages to the bank’s customers over outbound channels that are relevant to the customer, aligned to business strategy. It consists of several evolving systems/components and is undergoing modernisation and standardisation.

You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary, Agile team designing and building distributed systems using modern technology stacks, with the opportunity to work with engineers across multiple geographies.


What we offer

The pay range for this role is 17 500 PLN - 23 000 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
