Backend Engineer Node.js

  • 4+ years of experience in Node.js (server-side JavaScript) development
  • 2+ years of experience in system/data integration (data analysis, transformation, validation)
  • 1+ years of experience working with distributed systems, with a solid understanding of their design patterns (robustness, scaling, elasticity, consistency, replication, asynchrony, parallelism, failure handling)
  • 2+ years of experience in REST-like API design and implementation
  • Basic knowledge of designing, developing, operating, and troubleshooting AWS services (must-have, serverless-focused: Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, S3)
  • Solid knowledge of the GitHub tool suite, including branching concepts, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and working with issues/tickets
  • Basic knowledge of Linux command-line tools and shell scripting
  • Good communication skills (English) and team collaboration skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Terraform infrastructure-as-code configurations for AWS services
  • Knowledge of additional AWS services: DynamoDB, DocumentDB, streaming services
