Senior Data Analyst
The role is part of a larger Strategic Data Platform programme focused on assessing and improving the data quality of key internal systems. The Data Quality (DQ) team aims to be the most innovative in the organisation. The work covers automated DQ rule prediction and implementation, anomaly detection, root cause investigation of data issues, and remediation campaigns. The team works on Google Cloud Platform, using BigQuery, GenAI, Data Studio, and Python. We are looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst who can understand a given problem, use the available tools to analyse the data and clearly communicate and visualise proposed solutions.
About you:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a data-related role (e.g. Tech Business Analyst, Data Management / Modelling, Data Analyst)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform products (BigQuery, Looker Studio, Cloud Storage)
- Understanding of cloud concepts and experience delivering cloud-based solutions
- Proven ability to interpret large data sets and explain complex issues concisely and in simple language
- Advanced listening, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Openness to new tools and technologies
- Python is a plus (used in ad-hoc projects)
