Technical Support Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Support, Application Support, Production Support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX / Linux.
- Hands-on experience with Bash / Shell Scripting.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Good knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Practical experience with IT Service Management, including Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Experience supporting applications and systems in production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Very good English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and operate effectively under time pressure.
- Willingness and availability to work the required afternoon/evening hours: 16:00–00:00 CEST / 15:00–23:00 CET.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join a long-term project for a global financial institution.
The role focuses on providing advanced technical support for critical applications and production environments. You will be responsible for monitoring systems, troubleshooting incidents, supporting day-to-day operations and working closely with teams across UNIX, databases, networks and upstream/downstream systems.
This is a hands-on technical support role, combining application support, production troubleshooting, monitoring, IT Service Management and continuous improvement.
Important: Afternoon/Night Shift
This role requires working afternoon/evening hours and is NOT a standard daytime position.
The working hours need to overlap with:
16:00–00:00 CEST during the summer time
15:00–23:00 CET during the winter time
Availability to work these hours is a key requirement for the position.
The role is primarily remote, with the possibility of working from the client's office a few times per month (less than once a week)
